Luci's 1st Nikolaus!

Today is St. Nikolaus day, a very traditional German Holiday. Grandma B. brought this wonderful tradition to America and her family has been thankful ever since. On the evening of December 5th all the children put their winter boots outside the door and Nikolaus comes and fills your boots with treats and surprises when you wake up on Dec. 6th. It does not replace stockings on Christmas Day, it is just in addition to, which makes it even more wonderful.

Luci @ 4 months

Four candles and cupcakes for 4 Months!

She loves her jumper-thing... for about 10 minutes at-a-time before she gets too tired.

She was practicing her yoga meditation but kept falling asleep.

Luci @ 3 Months

Luci w/ her 3 month birthday candle and ice cream cake.

She loves to relax.

Learning how to hold her own bottle and doing pretty well...

Luci making sure Mama keeps holding the binky for her.

After Anna and Jason worked hard to set up the Christmas tree we took a picture.

Lucia Birgit finding her feet.

Sleeping sitting up... it runs in the family.

Our lil' Pumkin

The Texas Weavers allowed us to come visit them for Halloween weekend. It was nice to go to their ward Trunk or Treat and Chili Cook-off…. Of course Jason and Anna’s was the best, they would have won if the contest were judged. Luci liked being a pumpkin most of the time and had a lot of fun with her cousins.

Visitors from Bahia!!!

Opa Piet and Teka Terumi came to visit us in Houston for a few days.
